I liked the original song, but i felt like something is missing. Well guess what.. I tried some riffs with the guitar and it sounded cool with some heavy distorted guitar. Then i recorded few demo riffs and then some more. The whole process took about 3 months. I had to choose the right riffs. But then i had some problems with the mastering and mixing. Adding that guitar layer did not fit well with the rest of the song. And i did not have the multichanel master tracks so somehow i had do make room for the guitars to fit into the mix. I ended up adding another instrument track. Drums!
After very long time this remix is finally done. I really like the way it sounds and im pretty happy with my work (and trust me thats rare). I hope you also like it! mp3 Download available for free to all of my members! Click on read more to download the high quality mp3 and read the whole story behind this remix.
I started this remix back in 2010. Now im pretty close to finish it. Basicly the song structure is ready. I dont think i will make any changes to it. The remix have some classic guitars, guitar solo, rythum guitar and a hip hot drum kit. I tried to make my guitar sound like the band "The Offspring" (witch is my favorite band). Ive been playing electric guitar for about 4-5 years now, and i think this is the first remix that i use guitar riffs. So... i hope you like it. Im doing the Mastering now. Making it sound like a studio mix.
My new Fort Minor - Petrified Remix. The instrumental track is composed and preformed by myselft so this would be a unique Remix that you have never head before. I have used the Fort Minor - Remember The Name Drum kit to make my beat. Also i have used the official Petrified Acapella by Mike Shinoda
Another Fort Minor Remix (cover). This time i remixed the song "High Road" and replaced the instrumental music and synchronized it with the original vocal track. I used some rock drums and a very cool piano synth in FL Studio.
This is a techno remix of the song Remember the Name by Fort Minor. I made the electronic sounds in FL Studio using parameter automation. Its not a "Dance remix" but it has the techno vibe into it. I have used some of the original tracks including the precaution and the vocals. The original Fort Minor Samples are used with permission from Fort Minor, Warner Bros. Records, and Machine Shop Recordings.
